Add a Wi-Fi Network Manually
If you don't see the Wi-Fi network you want in the list of available networks on your
Kindle Fire, you can add it manually.
Make sure you are within range of the network you want to add and that you know the
network name and password (if required).
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to show Quick Settings, and then tap Wireless.
- Verify that Airplane Mode is Off.
- Tap On next to Wi-Fi, and then tap Add Network.
- Type the network name in the Network SSID box.
- Choose the network security type from the Security drop-down menu, enter the network password if required, and then tap Save.
