Connect to Bluetooth
You can pair your Fire tablet with wireless devices that use Bluetooth technology,
such as speakers, keyboards, or mice.
Before you pair your Fire tablet with a Bluetooth accessory, verify that the accessory
is within range and is compatible with your Fire tablet. To learn more, go to Supported Bluetooth Profiles.
Note: Bluetooth microphones, microphone-enabled headsets, and low energy devices are not
supported.
- Verify that your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and set to pairing mode.
- On your Fire tablet, swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap Wireless.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Next to Bluetooth, tap On.
- Tap Pair a Bluetooth Device. A list of available Bluetooth devices will appear.
- Tap a Bluetooth accessory to pair it with your Fire tablet, and then follow any additional
pairing instructions.
After you pair your Bluetooth accessory with your device, a Bluetooth

indicator will appear next to the wireless indicator in the top right corner of the
screen. If the Bluetooth indicator is grey

, your device is not paired with your Bluetooth accessory.
