Set Up Parental Controls on Kindle Keyboard (3rd Generation)

With parental controls, you can restrict access to experimental web browser and Archived Items. When you turn on parental controls, you disable the ability to deregister and reset your device to factory defaults.

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu button, and then select Settings.
2. Turn one page, and then select Set next to Parental Controls.
3. Select Turn Off to require a password for access to any of the options.
4. Enter your parental controls password, and then select Submit to save your settings.

When parental controls are set, a lock icon appears at the top of the screen.
